ICSP Catholic Communities

Giving & Tithing

As parishioners, we support our church communities in donating our time, talent and treasure to enrich the lives of everyone.

General Offertory

GENERAL OFFERTORY
The Offertory, or Collection, at Mass is an integral part of the Sunday liturgy, not just because it is the primary means by which the parish receives financial support from the parishioners, but because it is also an expression of our gratitude to God for the blessings.

He has given us to return a portion of them back to Him for use by His Church.

Holy Day Collection

HOLY DAY COLLECTION
The Offertory, or Collection, on Holy Days is an integral part of the liturgy because it is an expression of our gratitude to God for the blessings He has given us during Feasts and Holy Days that we are celebrating. It also assists with the additional expenses that are incurred by the parish during these “busier” seasons.

PUSHPAY EXPLAINED
What is the new system for Giving?

Letter from Father John

Is online giving really necessary for our Parish?
Although the offertory basket will continue, it is important that as a parish we prepare for the future, as well as, accommodate those parishioners who pay the majority of their bills already from the convenience of their home computer. Many of our younger parishioners do not even have a check book. In an era of growing online banking, as a church we don’t want to be left behind by people who don’t use checks.

Can I still donate using weekly envelopes?
Absolutely! Although online giving replaces the need for weekly envelopes, donating through PushPay is not mandatory for all parishioners. We understand that not all parishioners are comfortable using a computer. We are thankful to receive your contributions anyway you want to give it to us.

Which payment methods are accepted?
We allow contributions from checking accounts, savings accounts, debit cards, and major credit cards such as Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express.

Do I receive a receipt for my donations?
Yes, all contributors enrolled with Pushpay can elect to receive receipts via e-mail.

How can I get help getting started?
Not a problem! Call the IC Business Office at (715) 246-4652 or stop by and we will assist you.

Is PushPay safe?
Yes. PushPay is certified with the Payment Card Industry (PCI) Data Security Standards (DSS) as a Level 1 Service Provider. No on in the parishes has access to your credit card or bank account information that you provide.

How do I change my personal information such as my bank account number, mailing address, or donation amount?
You can make these changes by yourself in Pushpay, or by calling the parish office at (715) 246-4652. You can plan your contributions for the entire year—or you can change you donation amount online whenever you like.
