A Meditation on Eucharistic Adoration
Come, enter into the silence.
Let the noise of the day settle, not by force, but by surrender. You are here now, in the presence of Jesus in the Eucharist. He is not distant. He is not hidden in abstraction. He is here—waiting, knowing, seeing, loving.
Be still.
You do not need any words. You do not need to explain yourself. Simply sit before Him. Let your heart rest, even if it feels restless. Let your mind wander back, again and again, to His presence.
Look at Him.
In the silence of adoration, you are not looking at a symbol—you are gazing upon Christ Himself. The same Jesus who called His disciples, who calmed the storm, who carried the cross. And now, He looks at you with the same love.
Let yourself be seen.
Bring nothing and everything at once—your worries, your gratitude, your distractions, your longing. Place them gently before Him. You do not need to organize them. He understands before you speak.
Listen.
Not for a voice, not for something dramatic, but for the quiet movements of grace. A sense of peace within you. A softening of your heart. A deep knowing that you are not alone.
Remain. Keeping your heart open.
This is enough—to be here, to be with Him. Time spent in adoration is not measured by what you feel or accomplish, but by your willingness to stay. Even in dryness, even in silence, He is working within you.
Rest in His love.
Let His presence steady you. Let it reshape you, slowly and gently. Like light warming the earth, His grace reaches places you cannot see.
Stay a little longer.
There is nowhere else you need to be. Nothing more you need to do. Allow your heart to receive, rest in His peace and presence.
Just be with Him.
