SAFE ENVIRONMENT
The safety and well-being of our children is our highest priority. In alignment with the Diocese of Superior and the USCCB, we provide comprehensive protection training for both students and the adults who serve them.
STUDENT TRAINING: BUILDING AWARENESS & CONFIDENCE
All children in grades K-12 enrolled in Youth Formation at Immaculate Conception and St. Patrick participate in age-appropriate abuse awareness and resistance training. This program is designed to help children:
- Reinforce their inherent dignity as a person created in the image of God.
- Recognize healthy vs. unhealthy relationships.
- Understand how to seek help from trusted adults.
ADULT TRAINING: CMG CONNECT
To ensure a safe environment, all employees and adult volunteers must complete the CMG Connect program before working with minors. This process includes:
- Safe Environment Certification: Online training provided by the Diocese.
- Background Checks: Mandatory screenings for all volunteers.
- Regular Renewal: Both certification and background checks are updated every 5 years.
