VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL  

Overview: Held in partnership with St. Anne Church, VBS is a high-energy summer adventure where kids learn about the Catholic faith through creative and engaging themes. In recent years, we’ve explored everything from the deep ocean to outer space—and in Summer 2026, we are heading to the Rainforest! It is a week filled with interactive lessons, music, and activities that lead our youngest parishioners closer to Jesus.

Who: Children age 3 through Grade 4. (Volunteers needed for Grade 5 through Adult).

When: One week in the summer.

Where: St. Anne School, Somerset, WI.

TOTUS TUUS  

Overview: Totus Tuus (“Totally Yours”) was the motto of St. Pope John Paul II, signifying a complete dedication to Jesus through Mary. This summer program features a team of four young adult missionaries who travel to our parishes to ignite the hearts of our youth. Through evangelization, catechesis, and Eucharistic worship, they share the Gospel in a way that is high-energy, fun, and deeply rooted in the Catholic faith.

Who: Day program for incoming Grades K–6; Evening program for incoming Grade 7–High School.

When: One week in June or July.

Where: Hosted at Immaculate Conception and St. Patrick.

EXTREME FAITH CAMP (EFC)  

Overview: Get ready for an EXTREME week-long summer adventure! This camp is packed with high-energy activities like rock climbing, high ropes, mountain biking, canoeing, and swimming. Beyond the sports, it is a deeply spiritual week featuring daily Mass, Adoration, Reconciliation, inspiring speakers, and small group sessions. It’s the perfect environment to build new friendships while drawing closer to Jesus Christ.

  • Who: Grades 6–12 (6th–8th graders are campers; high schoolers serve as leaders).
  • When: Second week of June.
  • Where: CrossWoods Adventure Camp, Mason, WI.

Cost/Registration: $475 (fundraising available). Registration is open November–December.

PULSE: Middle School Youth Group  

Overview: PULSE is a fun and engaging opportunity for middle schoolers to connect with one another while growing in their faith. We gather on a quarterly basis to build strong friendships through interactive games, creative activities, and friendly competition. These sessions are designed to create a supportive community that prepares students for a life of evangelization and service in their high school years. And of course, there are always delicious snacks and plenty of time to hang out!

  • Who: All students in Grades 6–8 (regardless of faith background).
  • When: Monthly on Sunday evenings during the Catholic Formation Year.
  • Where: St. Mary’s School Multi-Purpose Room (Door W3).

Registration: Free to attend! “One & Done” sign-up is available below in September. Register once for the entire year.

HIGH SCHOOL DISCIPLESHIP WEEKEND  

Overview: These immersive weekends are designed for teens ready to “drop their nets” and follow Jesus with greater intention. The experience is built on three essential pillars: Sacramental Encounter, Christian Community, and Intimate Prayer. It is a powerful invitation to “come and see” what a life of discipleship looks like while surrounded by the beauty of God’s creation and a supportive peer community.

  • Who: Youth in Grades 9–12.
  • When: Annually in the Fall.
  • Where: CrossWoods Adventure Camp, Mason, WI.

Registration: Managed through the Diocese of Superior in September – October.

WORKCAMP MISSION TRIP  

Overview: This short-term mission trip is an unforgettable opportunity to “love the least of these” by serving the neglected, brokenhearted, and marginalized. Participants live as disciples through social service, prayer, and the sacraments. Whether it’s through physical labor or simply offering a listening ear to someone in need, you will join youth from across the country to share the love of Christ and grow in your own faith.

Registration: Reach out to the parish office for details on the upcoming summer trip.

Who: High school youth and adults.

When: Annually in July.

Where: Varies (A predetermined site hosted by the CHWC organization).

MARCH FOR LIFE PILGRIMAGE  

Overview: Stand united with thousands of Catholics from across the country as we march to protect the beauty and dignity of every human life, from conception to natural death. This national pilgrimage to Washington D.C. allows our youth to put their faith into action and glorify the sanctity of life through prayer, witness, and community. It is a life-changing journey that envisions a future where every life is valued.

  • Who: Youth in Grades 9–12.
  • When: Annually in January.
  • Where: Washington D.C.

Cost/Registration: $650 (fundraising opportunities available). Registration is open September 1 – December 1.
