Middle school is a vital bridge in a young person’s faith. Building on the foundations of grade school and the initiation into the Sacraments of First Reconciliation and Eucharist, we help students deepen their personal relationship with Christ as they begin preparing for Confirmation and full initiation into the Church.
Our middle school program focuses on helping students navigate these transitional years with confidence and grace:
- Theology of the Body: We dive deep into St. John Paul II’s teachings to help students understand their incredible dignity and value as persons created in God’s image.
- Discipleship & Prayer: We move beyond the “basics” to help students develop a personal prayer life and a heart for service.
A UNIQUE EXPERIENCE AT EACH CHURCH
While our mission is the same, our two churches offer different ways for your middle schooler to engage with their faith:
Immaculate Conception
- Format: The weekly evenings are a combination of small groups and large group gatherings to learn to grow in faith via foundational learning. Every third Wednesday of the month is dedicated to Eucharistic Adoration, offering students quiet time for prayer and reflection.
- The “EDGE” Experience: Other sessions feature the EDGE curriculum—a fun, high-energy program focused on worship, community, and active discipleship.
St. Patrick
- Format: Our sessions are split between classroom learning and celebrating Mass together.
- Family Connection: On the second Sunday of each month, we host a Family Formation Large Group Session where parents and students learn and grow side-by-side.
